Inspired by my father, a skilled cabinetmaker, and my mother, a dedicated school teacher, I have been drawn to the combination of design and education from an early age.

After attending a community college and pursuing my degree in Interior Design from Kean University, I chose a diverse career and life path marked by a common thread of organization and a joy in turning chaos into order.

 

I have always been the one to bring structure and efficiency to any endeavor. I have organized events, and assisted well-known residential designers in the NJ, NY, CT tristate area. My favorite volunteer experiences were as President of a Family Readiness Group in the military community and helping with children ministries in my local churches.

I moved to the Wilmington area with my husband, two children, and rescue pup in 2022! Balancing mom life and work life, my experiences turned full circle and I started teaching interior design at Cape Fear Community College in the evenings.

 

Writing poetry is as much a part of me as design. I love that poetry is an extension of organizing. Poetry is a concise representation of the beauty and intricacies of human experience. It's not a stretch to say the organization of our personal lives and homes does the same. I have recently entered a contest with my second poetry book and anxiously awaiting the results!

With a portfolio enriched by diverse experiences, each of my roles has served as a part of my story, shaping me into the nurturing and adaptable organizer & designer I am today, with a heart to help families!
